28-02-2009   Rogue Gear sponsored East's Holiday Park Mitsubushi EVO 9 GSR comes 4th in Bathurst 12 hour.
For the second year in a row the East's Holiday Park EVO has finished in the top 5 outright in the Bathurst 12 hour race.  This year the team went 1 better to finish 4th overall, and make it a Mitsubishi EVO 1,2,3 and 4.  With the 3 EVO's in front being the new EVO 10 RS models.  Things didn't all run smoothly for the team however, with an off into the sand trap at the chase.

02-11-2008 Proctor wins the 2008 NSW Formula Vee championship

The thrill of second place in the NSW Formula Vee Championship had certainly worn out its welcome for Adam Proctor, but last weekend during the sixth and final round at Eastern Creek Raceway he was able to end that streak and claim the NSW Formula Vee Championship for 2008.

After finishing runner up on two previous occasions, the first in 2004 and then again last year, Proctor managed to break through and take out the 2008 NSW Formula Vee Championship that he had so been chasing for so many years.

It has been a case of persistence pays off, and throughout the NSW Championship this year he has had to fight tooth and nail for it, and it all came down to the third and final race of the weekend, and a second place finish was good enough to clinch NSW Championship success for the first time.

“The team and I have worked very hard all year, and it’s great to finally come away with the NSW Championship, as in previous years it hasn’t been for lack of trying, we just haven’t had much luck when it mattered most when it came to winning the NSW Championship,” said both a jubilant and relieved Proctor.

20-08-2008 No Podium Result, but NSW Championship Lead Intact
Adam Proctor is a customer of Rogue Gear, and currently holds the lead in the NSW Formula Vee championship.
adam proctor In the chase to claim his maiden NSW Formula Vee Championship, Adam Proctor has moved one step closer after the fifth and penultimate round was played out last weekend at Goulburn’s Wakefield Park Raceway.

Despite not recording a podium finish for the weekend, Proctor aboard his # 18 Glenella Quarry supported Jacer F2K7 did enough to build his championship lead after qualifying and finishing the opening race in second.

The second race saw Proctor start from second place on the grid, but on the opening lap he had pole sitter and NSW Championship main rival Michael Kinsella spin in front of him and this forced him to take evasive action and this dropped him back to eighth which was where he stayed all the way to the finish.

After starting the third and final race from eighth, Proctor was able to make a blinder of a start to work his way into third place during the opening laps. Unfortunately Proctor fell back late in the race and ended up crossing the finish line in fifth.

Proctor’s weekend certainly wasn’t his best, but he did enough to consolidate his lead in the championship point standings, as he chases his very first NSW Championship after twice finishing runner up both last year and in 2004.

“I now hold down a nine point lead in the NSW Championship point standings which is a much better situation than my last round as I held a two point lead at the time,” Proctor commented.

“Consistency has once again seen me able to continue my lead in the championship, and I couldn’t be happier, as I want this championship so much, as I have finished second on two occasions.”

Meanwhile, Mark McHenry will drive the factory Jacer during the second round of the National Series that is to be held at Oran Park Raceway on August 30 - 31, while the sixth and final round of the NSW Championship is to be held at Eastern Creek Raceway on September 27 - 28.

One of our customers has this to say about the Digital Hero 3:

Out of the box this camera better than I thought. It sits comfortably on my wrist when I am performing any outdoor activity. Its light enough where you don’t notice it.

I have taken it surfing, biking, snowboarding, skiing (yes I do both), backpacking, kayaking, and swimming. Sorry can’t vouch for the diving but I can guarantee you that the pounding surf doesn’t phase this little wonder.

I have taken some great photos and videos with this camera. It’s SO easy to use, point and shoot. Imagine a 12 foot wave coming at you, stopping and taking a photo of your friend dropping down the face of it. YES, this camera enables that type of photo in that extreme of a situation and it’s effortless. Same goes for my snowboarding/skiing experiences. I get great shot that everyone is really excited about because prior to this camera… these shot were never taken unless you went out specifically to photograph. This camera enables you to stay in the game or activity and get great shots! LOVE IT.
